Enclave Coworking Opens in Historic Downtown McKinney, Bringing Flexible Workspace to the Square

McKINNEY, TX — A new coworking concept has arrived in one of North Texas’ most distinctive districts. Enclave Coworking is opening its newest location in Historic Downtown McKinney, offering professionals a workspace designed to match the pace and character of the surrounding square.

Located at 305 E. Virginia Street, Suite 202 (above the arcade), McKinney, TX 75069, the space sits directly within the walkable downtown corridor, surrounded by locally owned restaurants, cafés, and storefronts. Rather than commuting into a traditional office district, members work in the middle of one of the city’s most active community hubs.

“Downtown McKinney has an energy you don’t find in traditional office corridors,” said CJ Childress, Enclave’s Texas General Manager. “People come here to spend time, meet people, and stay awhile. We wanted a workspace that feels connected to that environment rather than separated from it.”

The space is designed for professionals whose work no longer fits neatly into either a corporate office or a home office. Remote employees, entrepreneurs, consultants, and small teams increasingly want a consistent place to work without the daily drive into Dallas or Plano. Enclave aims to provide that middle ground.

The McKinney location offers private offices, shared suites, flexible lounge access, and meeting rooms, allowing members to choose how structured their workday needs to be. Memberships begin at $120 per month for Flex access, with private offices starting at $650 per month.

Unlike traditional business parks, the Historic Downtown setting plays a central role in the experience. Members can step out for a walking meeting around the square, grab coffee from neighboring cafés, or host clients in an area that feels local and welcoming rather than corporate.

“Where you work affects how you work,” Childress said. “When you’re in a place with character, it changes your mindset. You focus better, conversations feel easier, and your day doesn’t feel confined to a single room.”

The opening reflects a broader shift in how professionals define a workplace. Rather than choosing between isolation at home or long commutes to centralized offices, many are looking for proximity, consistency, and a sense of place. Historic Downtown McKinney offers all three, making it a natural fit for the coworking model.

Tours of the new location are now available for individuals and teams interested in flexible workspace options.

For many local professionals, the appeal is simple: a reliable place to work, located in a part of the city they already enjoy visiting.
